Weekly Inspiration: Keep Pressing

As we look at the world today we see more sin and degradation.  Not only are sinners indulging but Christians also, for the very elect will be fooled in the last days.  These things must take place before the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Today I encourage you not to forfeit your place in the Kingdom.   As Paul states in Philippians 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” I encourage you to make this your goal.  Crucify this flesh daily.  When presented with evil press towards righteousness, remembering that the wages of sin is death.

As we look at 1 Corinthians 10:13 “There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.”  God is faithful and He is able to do what he says.  So keep pressing towards righteousness that you will receive eternal life and heaven will be your home.
